⚠️ Draft for legal review. This policy is a good-faith template, not legal advice. MeeDelivery must have it reviewed and adapted by a qualified Indian lawyer before relying on it. Placeholders in [brackets] need real values.

Terms & Conditions

Effective 31 May 2026 · MeeDelivery (operated by SRNR)

1. Who we are & what this is

MeeDelivery ("we", "us", "the Platform") is an online intermediary that connects people who want to send a package ("Senders") with independent travellers already making that journey ("Travellers"). We are a technology platform only — we do not own a fleet, employ Travellers, take custody of packages, or act as a courier or logistics company. By using the Platform you agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of the service

3. Eligibility & accounts

4. Prohibited & restricted items

You may not send, and Travellers may not carry, any item that is illegal or unsafe, including but not limited to:

The Sender is solely responsible and liable for the contents declared. Misdeclaration is a material breach and may be reported to authorities.

5. Payments & escrow

Delivery fees are collected through a third-party RBI-authorised payment aggregator. [Confirm your aggregator: Razorpay / Cashfree.] Funds for a delivery are held by the aggregator and released to the Traveller only after delivery is confirmed via OTP at drop-off. MeeDelivery does not operate a stored-value wallet or hold customer funds as a deposit-taker.

[If you offer any wallet/stored balance, you must comply with RBI PPI rules or route all funds through a licensed aggregator's escrow/nodal account. Confirm the exact flow with your aggregator and lawyer.]

6. Conduct & safety

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeeDelivery is not liable for loss, theft, delay, or damage to packages, which is a matter between the Sender and the Traveller. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Platform is limited to the service fee we earned on the relevant transaction. We provide the Platform "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. [Your lawyer should calibrate this clause to Indian consumer law — unfair limitation clauses can be void.]

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify MeeDelivery against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your package contents, or your unlawful conduct.

9. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [City, State] have exclusive jurisdiction. [Insert your seat.]

10. Grievance Officer

In line with the IT Rules, 2021 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use means acceptance.
