Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Data we collect
- Account & identity: name, email, phone number, and KYC details where required.
- Verification: OTP records and phone-verification status.
- Transactions: deliveries, routes, pickup/drop locations, ratings, and payment metadata (we do not store full card numbers โ these are handled by the payment aggregator).
- Device & usage: approximate location for matching, app/device data, and logs.
2. How we use it
- To match Senders and Travellers and operate deliveries;
- To verify identity, prevent fraud, and keep the community safe;
- To process payments through our aggregator;
- To provide support, send service notifications, and meet legal obligations.
3. Legal basis & consent
We process data with your consent and as necessary to provide the service. You may withdraw consent, but some features may then be unavailable.
4. Sharing
- With the counterparty of a delivery (limited contact + location needed to complete it);
- With service providers โ payment aggregator, SMS/OTP provider, hosting, analytics โ under contract;
- With authorities where required by law.
- We do not sell your personal data.
5. Storage & security
Data is stored on secured infrastructure (Neon Postgres / Vercel). We use encryption in transit, access controls, and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (e.g. tax/transaction records), then delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights (DPDP Act)
- Access and correct your data;
- Request erasure where applicable;
- Withdraw consent;

8. Children
The Platform is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
